ABOUT THE ASHFORD ARTS COUNCIL

MISSION

The Ashford Arts Council is dedicated to building creative bridges interconnecting the arts, artists and communities at large in order to enrich, develop, and sustain our cultural heritage. By fostering education and diverse art programs in a variety of venues we will encourage the creation of, the appreciation of, as well as providing investment opportunities in the visual, literary, and performing arts.

The Ashford Arts Council is an offshoot of the Ashford ‘Our Town Our Future’ organization. All of us are involved citizens who love our town and strive to keep it vibrant and interesting to our residents and surrounding communities.

The Ashford Arts Council is a committee of the Windham Arts Organization.

MEETINGS

The Ashford Arts Council currently meets at 7:00 pm on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at Knowlton Hall/Babcock Library in Ashford, CT.
